This trail takes place in the Pumahuanca valley ("Puma's Stone" in Quechua), under the protection of the Apu of Urubamba (Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco), following its stream and entering its fragrant queña forests.

Starting point: From the outskirts of Urubamba
End point: Urubamba or Lares, depending on preference
Duration: between 1 and 3 days, depending on preference
Starting altitude: 3300 m
Maximum peak (optional): Abra de Sicllajacasa at 4780 m

We offer a wide range of customization options, depending on your interests and physical level.
Recommended options:
1 day (between 3 and 8 hours): Visit the Inca temples, admire and, for the more daring, bathe in the beautiful waterfalls, immerse yourself in the fragrant native forests of the Andes, admire the majesty of the Andes and its valleys.
2-3 days: Sleep in a tent in the Andes, look at the stars, cook with fire and feel the energy of the Apus at its highest level.
Alpacas Depending on the interest of the traveling friend, we can cross the Sicllajacasa pass (4780m) to reach the hot springs of Lares (3100m) or return to Urubamba before reaching the pass, spending the night next to the falls or inside a beautiful native forest.
Optional: mule/horse to carry suitcases or person, native guide.
